Vivo has released two new smartphones, the Y78 (t1) and the Y78m (t1), both of which feature downgraded specs compared to their predecessors. The most notable downgrade is the use of the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chip, which is a less powerful chip than the Dimensity 7020 used in the original Y78 and Y78m.

The Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) also have a downgraded display, with a refresh rate of 60Hz compared to the 90Hz refresh rate of the original Y78 and Y78m. This means that the display on the new phones will not be as smooth as the display on the original phones.

Other than the downgraded chip and display, the Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) are very similar to their predecessors. They both have a 6.64-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple rear camera system, and a 4,500mAh battery.

It is not clear why Vivo has downgraded the specs of the Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1). However, it is possible that Vivo is trying to make these phones more affordable. The Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) are both priced at ¥1,999 in China, which is about $280. This is significantly cheaper than the original Y78 and Y78m, which were both priced at ¥2,499.

Whether or not the Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) are worth buying depends on your needs and budget. If you are looking for a budget-friendly smartphone with a decent display and camera, then the Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) may be good options for you. However, if you are looking for a smartphone with the best possible performance and display, then you may want to look elsewhere.
